Excellent hotel in the centre of the fashion and cultural area of Madrid. Very modern and spstylish
You need toknow your partner well as bathrooms have glass walls.
The design of the hotel and room. I also liked the inclusion of an exercise bike in the room.
The Internet connection seemed a little slow. Not much variety on the TV channels or mini-bar.
The location is fantastic for shopping, dining options, beauty of sorrounding buildings and the subway is a 2 minutes walk. The family rooms are spacious enough and trendy in design. beautiful old fashioned wood elevator. free internet. Staff very accomodating with early 11AM check in. The bunk beds were a total success with our children age 5 and 10.
The front desk staff is not rude but are as welcoming and charming as you would find at the post office or bank teller. In two satys and a total of 4 nights it is also the only staff we saw, with one maid in the hallway. no english language channel was available on the TV and we were told to wait until the next day (this was at 4PM). Buffet breakfast at 17 Euro is too expensive and very basic. No bathtub in our room. Bathrooms are funky but lack privacy. Depending on the rate available we would stay again but this hotel by no means reflects the five star standards.
Ideal location to access galleries and shops. Good access to the metro means ease of travel through the city. Salamanca is a charming and quality neighborhood close to wide range of restaurants. In room computer a bonus too.
great location and proximity to key Madrid locations and upmarket shopping area. Very nice area to walk around. lack of cafes and restaurants to my knowledge in the area, more shoping centric
very noisy in the mornings in the corridor and noise comes through the doors into the room very loudly from the cleaners walkie talkies on very high volume, talking, banging doors and cupboards. We were woken up every morning we were there by the noise in the corridor by the cleaning ladies.
First, location: a quiet corner in the Salamanca district, very urban but not the over-crowded and touristy Madrid centre. Second: very spacious room, a boon if you are spending several nights. Third: modern design and features such as a computer in the room.
Service depended on the emplyee: most but not all very helpful.
The location is absolutely fantastic and the complementary bicycle use made sightseeing a real joy
good location very closed to shpping and restaurant
noisy late hours fri and sat
Perfect location near Retiro park
Some persons on the reception were unkind
Very unique rooms, knowledgeable staff, great location in a very nice area.
People in reception is very unpleasant. There is so many people unemployed......
all the ret was very good in relation to the price paid,
air conditione: too noisy
stylish room with balcony, fantastic bathroom
there are no i pod docks in room.
Very good location for shopping and also for city trip. Staff was very helpful.
